This is Anger’s tribute to the rejuvinating forces of Lucifer, replete with baroque costumes, pyramids, menhirs, and a UFO. Filmed in Luxor, Karnak, Gizeh, London, Externstein and Avebury, the cast of cosmic archetypes includes Donald Cammell (Osiris), Marianne Faithful (Lilith), and Anger himself (as The Magus). Bobby Beausoleil created the soundtrack for this version of the film while in prison.
