Mark Flood returns to CineMarfa to present his feature film about a group of art students touring the art fairs of Miami. They’re looking for creative inspiration, but instead they find madness, disease, and death. Underscoring the themes of shameless self-promotion and commodification in the art world, Flood’s paintings are seen throughout the film bearing texts such as « boring conceptual crap » and « capitalism kills trees ».
Flood will be in attendance at the screening.
